She has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Leadership, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

Her previous positions included Principal Medical Education Advisor for the RACGP, the RACGP Queensland Censor, Chair of the RACGP Expert Committee Pre-Fellowship Education, a performance assessor for AHPRA, Associate Director of Training at North Coast GP Training and a member of MDA National’s Education Services Advisory Group (ESAG).

In 2010, Genevieve received the Arts and Health Australia Awards for Excellence in Medical Humanities and Education and in 2014 was awarded GPET’s Medical Educator of the Year (Australia wide). In 2016, she received the RACGP Queensland Chair Award for outstanding dedication and commitment to RACGP Queensland and service to the discipline of general practice.

She is providing clinical general practice services at Ballarat Group Practice, the Arch site.
